To study the mechanical performance of FRP-steel composite tube concrete flexural components,a steel tube concrete flexural component and two FRP-steel composite tube flexural components were experimentally investigated.Two FRP-steel composite tube components were composite with 2 layers of CFRP and steel and a layer of CFRP+2 layers of BFRP and steel.The test results showed that the ultimate bearing capacity of steel tube concrete flexural components could be enhanced by FRP.The hardening stage of load-displacement curves were achieved after steel yielding of the FRP-steel composite tube concrete specimens,the security capacity reserve was increased and a certain stiffness of the component after yielding is achieved.The fibre broken group by group gradually could be realized by different fibres and steel composite,the failure mode was changed.
