THE STATE AND THE ART OF THE IMPACT OF UNDERGROUND TUNNEL CONSTRUCTION ON ADJACENT BUILDINGS

  • The excavation of underground tunnels must be on the premise of the normal usage of ground buildings.Cracking, settlement, incline and other issues of buildings may be caused by excessive ground settlement, which may severely affect the safe usage of buildings. Based on previous studies, the research methods and results of the impact of underground shield tunnel and shallow bored tunnel construction on adjacent buildings were respectively reviewed and summarized, and the further study and research ideas were put forward.
