Twelve concrete simple beams are made,the test of static load of the third point until failure being experienced and analysed,performances of the steels with different reinforcement ratios and reinforced concrete beams are studied.The results show that: load-deflection curve of BFRP reinforced concrete beam is almost a straight line,but still performs a better ductility at the late loading stage.Cracking load and ultimate load have not been significantly improved,but crack width can be controlled within 2.5 mm,and the crack spacing is decreased with the increase in reinforcement ratio.So better non-peeling BFRP rebars should be made to ensure adequate bond strength with the concrete.
