To study anti-bending properties of self-compacting concrete dual-way slabs,six self-compacting and two corresponding ordinary concrete dual-way slabs of two different strength grade are made.The results show that:1) the experimental data of limit load of self-compacting concrete dual-way slabs are close to those of the ordinary concrete dual-way slab with same strength grade,and are obviously higher than their theoretical value;2) the load-deflection curves,the crack development and the broken shapes of the two kinds of dual-way slabs are basically the same;3) compared with ordinary concrete dual-way slabs,the cracks in self-compacting concrete dual-way slabs appear to be with smaller width and spread more evenly.Therefore,it is safe to design the self-compacting concrete dual-way slab according to the theory of ordinary concrete.
