It was mainly introduced the assembling, hoisting and integral installation of steel roof of a sports center.The software ANSYS was used to simulate the construction process of the steel roof.Two cable tension plans were compared and one of them was chosen as the final plan.The main feature of this plan was that it was operated step by step.Considering quicken the speeding up of construction and ensuring structure stability, the jack was moved from center to both sides of the structure and symmetric tension was done, so that it could conform the state of the design.Reasonable hoisting and tension plan made the structure be completed according to the plan.
