Density is an important indicator with durability and impermeability of rock-fill concrete.In order to study the feasibility of density detection method.Rock-fill concrete was applied to the additional second-line project of Lan-Xin railway between Wuxi and Jinghe,and the related experiments and study on that field were taken.Four methods,such as density measurement analysis,borehole core samples and core assessment,ultrasonic testing method,embedded tube nondestructive testing method,were used in some experimental section to detect the density of rock-fill concrete.And through the comparative analysis of detection results,it was found that the embedded tube nondestructive testing method in which the infrared imaging technology was used could detect the dense situation of concrete veritably with the simple operation and cheap cost.
