ANALYSES OF VERTICAL EARTHQUAKE RESPONSES OF THE MEGA-BEAM FLOOR IN THE VIBRATION-ABSORPTION STRUCTURE WITH LARGE TUNED MASS RATIO

  • Some problems of the vertical earthquake responses of the mega-beam floor in both the vibration-absorption structure with large tuned mass ratio and the common mega frame are discussed based on random vibration theory,and some design advices from practical conformation are provided for resolving the excessive dynamical responses of the large-span mega-beam floor.The results indicate: the maximal vertical earthquake response of the mega-beam floor is located around its middle part;the vertical earthquake response of the mega-beam floor is increasing with its location in the heightened structure;the vertical earthquake responses of the large-span mega-beam floor with a sub-frame,are depressed.
