STUDY ON THE BEHAVIORS OF PRESTRESSED PRECAST HYBRID SHORT-SHEAR WALLS

  • In this paper,a new kind of prestressed precast hybrid coupled wall(PPHSW) was proposed.Study was carried out with a computer program developed based on th finite element DRAIN-2DX.The results indicated that tension order has nothing to do with the axial force in coupling beams,but the value is less in the frist story coupling beam because of the fixed end in the bottom of the pier,the restraint effect of the fixed end is decayed quickly.Structure has good earthquake resistant behavior,with lateral displacement curve of shear-flexural type,in order to delay the state of yielding of prestressed tendons in coupling beams as much as posssible;throughout the process of loading the degree of coupling basically unchanged,the value should not be too large.
