Abstract

Abstract

This paper described connotation of the scientific development concept,it was analyzed the experiences and lessons of the western developed countries in the process of urban development and also analyzed the issues that appeared in Chinas current urban development,such as the old concept,waste of resources,overexpansion,ecological degradation,characteristics loss,as well as the neglect ofscience humanand so on.It was believed that scientific concept of development was an effective response to these problems,which was also the guiding ideology of the new era of urban development.Further more,It was proposed measures and methods of implementing the scientific concept of development in the urban development.
