FLEXIBILITY-BASED FIBER BEAM-COLUMN ELEMENT AND ITS PARAMETRIC ANALYSIS

  • Based on flexibility and fiber model,the beam-column element of the modeling methods for concrete-filled steel tube columns is researched and a parametric analysis is carried out by Opensees software.The effects of the constitutive relationship of material,the mesh division of fiber cross-section and the number of integration points on the simulation precision and the calculation efficiency are discussed.The results show that the descending section of confined concrete constitutive relationship and the enhancing section of steel constitutive relationship are the main factors which affect the accuracy of hysteretic model.On the other hand,both the mesh division of fiber cross-section and the number of integration points affect the calculation efficiency.The research can supply a theoretic basis for the use of this sort of element in a composite structure.
