In order to research the mechanic behavior of steel encased concrete members subjected to combined force.Experiments were conducted on five SRC beams with various ratios of torque to bending moment Loading process and failure modes of different specimen were described. Two failure modes(failure with torsional feature and failure with flexural feature) were obtained after analysis of the experiment.Tests and analysis results indicate that ratio of torque to bending moment is the important factor affects the failure mode, the ultimate torque moment can increase to some extent under a suitable bending moment.A flexure-torsion-correlation equation in three-phrase expression form of the SRC members is put forward.
