FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF BEARING CAPACITY AND FAILURE MECHANISM OF HORIZONTAL JET GROUTING ARCH

  • The in-situ loading test was performed and the experimental data were used to verify the computational results from the finite element methods,which showed that the finite element program was reliable.By virtue of numerical analysis,the failure process can be reproduced.It is found that the plastic strains firstly appear on the junctions of cement mixing piles by horizontal jet grouting.With increasing of the load,the plastic zone expands and joints together at last.
