the new type slit hollow shear wall of reinforced concrete is a carrying structure of anti-seismic and energy conservation.Through the experiment of three shear wall components,it was analyzed the failure mode,failure mechanism and deformation feature of the new structure.The result shows that the slit hollow shear wall has ductile flexural-shear failure mode,whose aseismic behavion is better than that of the normal shear wall.
