Rammed concrete pile is the new development of columnar-hammer rammed and expanded piles. Owning to the twice compaction effect and high strength of rammed concrete,the rammed concrete pile has the advantages of high bearing capacity and low cost. Bearing behavior and construction procedure of rammed concrete piles are studied in the paper. The results of site tests indicate that the tube must be taken to drive the pile and ram the concrete under ground water level. The construction parameters are also analyzed.
