STUDY ON CFRP-CONCRETE BOND BEHAVIOR SUBJECTED TO FREEZE-THAW CYCLES

  • Inner shear test method was used to study CFRP-concrete bond behavior under freeze-thaw cycles.Through this test,the influence of freeze thaw cycle to interface durabilities was revealed,and scientific basis for structural reinforcement of cold regions was provided. The tests results indicate that freeze-thaw cycles has significant effects on the failure modes of interface between CFRP and concrete. The bond strength and crack initial load of CFRP-concrete exhibit decreasing trends with an increase in number of freeze-thaw cycles.
