Based on the laminated rubber bearing,the cellular laminated rubber bearing is the rubber bearing with holes. This article focuses on the cellular rubber bearings applied to Beijing Olympic Multifunctional Studio Tower.As a new type of rubber bearing,its vertical and horizontal stiffness have been studied through the mechanical properties experiments. At the same time,the finite element model of the cellular rubber bearing has been established and its mechanical properties have been analyzed with ANSYS. From this comparison,the finite element numerical simulation results agree with the experimental data in this study. Thus,it can provide reference for the design of cellular laminated rubber bearings.
