ELASTIC COMPENSATION FINITE ELEMENT METHOD CONSIDERING EFFECT OF CONSTANT LOADINGS

  • This paper deals with the limit analysis of structure system under the combined action of constant loadings and live loadings. An efficient algorithm based on the elastic compensation finite element method ( ECFEM),is presented,in which the action of constant loadings to limit analysis is considered. In the algorithm,the iteration process of ECFEM is improved,which keeps the action of constant loadings unchanged while acquires the result of limit analysis. Contrastive analysis of some classical examples and analysis of influence factors show that the results using the algorithm are convergent,accurate and stabilizing.
