Taking an energy-saving renovation project in Xuzhou for example,and through the analysis of external and internal insulation systems for outer walls,it has been found out that the external insulation system for an outer wall is more suitable for existing public buildings in the northern area of Jiangsu Province. Renovation studies on roof,outer window,sun-shading and transparent curtain wall have also been carried out. Then,technical measures of energy-saving renovation of the enclosures suitable for the said areas climate conditions have been put forward,and they can be referred by design and construction of energy-saving renovation projects.
