STUDY ON OPTIMIZATION OF PARAMETERS OF ELECTRO-OSMOSIS ELECTRODES

  • Based on the assumption of homogeneous isotropic soil and ignoring the dimensions of electrodes,the formula for three-dimension electric field intensity by parallel rows of electrodes was proposed.The characteristics of electric field under different spacing between opposite polarity electrodes and electrodes lengths were compared.Influence scope of electric field was also investigated.Then electric field intensity formula was simplified by considering the effect of adjacent electrode pair.Finally,the application of the theory was illustrated with the combination of case history.Parameters analysis shows that appropriate electrodes parameters can be selected in the electro-osmotic design phase by the electric field intensity formula to meet technical and economic demand.
