Through a basemen trebuilding and reinforcement project, this article introduced the application of Underpinning technique in a basement rebuilding project from theoretical analysis and engineering practice. First of all, this article disscussed the result of underpinning project, lift-up force and lift-up displacement in rebuilding design; then introduced application of ground treatment technology in this project; at last,evaluated the effect of the rebuilding project by localm onitoring of the structure displacement and sedimentation observation of building in later period.
