THE SHEAR BEHAVIOR OF CONCRETE BEAM REINFORCED WITH ECC AND FRP GRID

  • In this paper,the shear behavior of concrete beam reinforced with engineered cementitious composites(ECC) and FRP grid is studied for the first time and is compared with the behavior of a beam reinforced with steel and CFRP sheet.The results from the research on crack development,ultimate deflection bearing capacity and failure mode of different specimens are valuable for further application of strengthening technology and the development of design guidelines for ECC and FRP grids.
