PUSH-OVER ANALYSIS OF THE HIGH-RISE FRAME-CORE WALL STRUCTURES WITH STRENGTHENED STOREYS

  • Horizontal Strengthened stories can effectively reduce the lateral displacement of the high-rise tubular structures under lateral load.But the high-rise tubular structures with horizontal strengthened stories displayed the extremely complex response characteristic under the earthquake action.The static elastic-plastic analysis(push-over analysis) of various structures is presented with horizontal strengthened stories,the plastic yield mechanism and ductility performance of these structures under earthquake action have been discussed in this paper.It is pointed out that weak stories will be formed nearby the horizontal strengthened stories.Corresponding design measures to ensure the deformability of the structures under rare earthquake action are put forward.
