  • After Wenchuan earthquake,according to the latest code, a grade must be raised for a seismic design of some frame structure buildings in earthquake effected regions,so antiseismic appraisal and dynamical test of the structures must be conducted.If the obtained results show that the structures can not meet the requirements of the current code,they need to be reinforced.Based on a practical project in the earthquake effected regions,it is described aseismic appraisal and strengthening methods,which may supply some experience for a seismic strengthening design of similar projects.
