The additive was applied to change the property of cement soil.When the cement soil was made,the additive materials such as the powdered silicon,natural powdered pumice,sodium salt and surface active agent were added into the cement clay.It was found that,through the experiment,these additives can effectively improve the mechanical property and increase the compressive strength and frost resistance property.The strength characteristic and effect of cement clay with added admixtures were studied by experiment in laboratory and outdoors.The research results will provide a foundation for applying powdered silicon etc in engineering practice.
