  • The methods of compression-testing machine,MIP(mercury intrusion porosity)and SEM(scanning electron microscope) are used to study the relationship between strength and pore characteristics of HPC(high performance concrete) at minus temperature. The experiment result shows that minus temperature HPC strength is obviously influenced by the pore structure. When compression increases, the porosity decreases. The strength is affected by pore gradation, pore pattern and pore spatial distribution.
