A total of six specimens were tested under pure bending to investigate the behaviour of FRP-concrete-steel double-skin tubular beams.Three circular and three square specimens were included where circular steel tubes were used as the inner tubes for all specimens. The main experimental parameters considered were the section type(circular and square),the type of FRP sheets(uni-directional and bi-directional),and the number of FRP layers(1~2).The test results provided useful information for the design and applications of this innovative type of composite members.
