Abstract

Abstract

Behaviour of concrete-filled square stiffened thin-walled steel tubular columns under eccentric loading is investigated using ABAQUS software.The model prediction results are in good agreement with the test results.The effects of stiffening on the performance of thin-walled composite columns are then discussed.
