HYSTERETIC BEHAVIOR OF FOUR-ANGLE STEEL CONNECTION

  • It is presented an approach of refined parametric three-dimensional (3D) non-linear analysis for sem-i rigid steel beam-column connection of top-seat-angle with double angle(i. e. four-angle). Based on comparison of its results with test data, the effect of several geometrical parameters on the behavior of the connection is analysed, such as thickness of the angle and the bolt gage on the column leg of the connection angles. By which, the moment-rotation curve of the connection is obtained.
