Static loading tests for DX piles with double bulbs installed in silty fine sand were conducted in field.The ultimate bearing capacities are determined, its load transfer mechanism is analysed, and the distribution and development of the skin friction resistances, the bulb resistances and the tip resistances of DX piles of this kind are studied.
