Static loading tests for DX piles single and double bulbs which installed in fine sand conducted in field. The ultimate bearing capacities is determined, the load transfer mechanism is analysed, and the distribution and development of the skin-friction resistances, the bulb resistances and the tip resistances of DX piles of these two kinds are studied .
