RESEARCH ON FATIGUE LIFE OF CFST ARCH BRIDGE TUBULAR JOINTS BASED ON THE METHOD OF NATURAL FLAW

  • It is compured the fatigue failure mode of concrete- filled steel tube(CFST) joint to that of hollow tube joint using model test, it is known that there is a basic agreement between the two. It is also proposed a way of predicting the fatigue life of CFST arch bridge tubular joints based on the method of natural flaw. And the rationality of the method in a certain range is verified by a real example.
