The durability design method of concrete structure under carbonation is studied based on structure reliability in this article. First the durability limit state and the reliability target are defined corresponding to carbonation. Second the failure probability expression of designed service life is established with adoption of proper prediction model of carbonation depth. Finally the durability indexes of structure and material are comprehensively determined under the request of service life. Some application examples are provided comparatively under different environmental conditions also.
