The roof structure system of the Xiamen Conference and Exhibition Center is a beam string structure,its prestressing construction is very difficult. A minute description of the prestressing construction plan is given. Some first-phase preparations such as the construction simulation calculation and prestressing device design are introduced. The construction monitor plan and the synchronism control measure are briefly accounted.According to the construction simulation results and site construction monitoring result,the features of prestress and steel structure construction of the structure are proposed.
