The design method of retard-bonded prestressing bar is introduced in No.1 building of Beijing Children's New Palace,which is an irregular slab-column and shear wall structure.The direction of cored pipe as well as reinforcing and prestressing bars are decided based on the primary internal force direction of solid shell and a convenient construction is also taken into account.The internal force of cored slab is simulated with multi-ribbed plate,and the reinforcement along rib is calculated based on the results of multi-ribbed plate.The retard-bonded prestressing technique is applied to the earthquake sensitive area to improve the earthquake resistance ability of the structure
