CHARACTERS OF WIND LOADS ACTING ON LONG-SPAN ROOF OF IRREGULAR SHAPE

  • This paper presents results from a wind tunnel study of wind pressures on an extra-long-span roof structure.In this study,mean,root-mean-square and peak wind pressure coefficient distributions on the roof are presented and discussed.The result presents maximum mean and peak pressure coefficient at corner of the roof.Major intermittent wind energy distribution is presented when the 3-D power spectrum density(PSD) of some typical measuring points on the roof is discussed.
