The traditional tenon connection of precast monolithic R.C.frame columns is improved.In which the concrete-filled steel tubular tenon instead of the R.C.tenon and the longitudinal steel bars connected by rolled parallel thread sleeve instead of welding or sleeve-cold-extruding connection technologies.The test results of 6 frame column specimens subjected to low-cycle reversed horizontal load and the test results of construction technologies show that the suggested tenon connection of frame columns is reliable and convenient,and it can be used in the practical engineering.Some suggestions on design and construction are also proposed.
