EXPERIMENT AND BEARING CAPACITY ANALYSIS OF R.C.L SHAPED COLUMN UNDER DIFFERENT DIRECTIONAL CYCLIC LOADING

  • As one of the primary shapes of reinforced concrete special-shaped column frame,much studies ignoring additional torsion effect have finished on L shaped columns.In fact,because of the special section,L shaped column's shear center is not coincided with the centroid of section,and it is under the combined loads of normal force,bending,shear and warping torsion.The additional torsional effect of L shaped column under different directional cyclic loading is discussed by means of experimental study,and the quantitative analysis is made according to GB code about the bearing capacity calculation method of a component under combined loads.Meanwhile,the worst horizontal direction is found through analysis of test results and nonlinear program.
