Abstract
The formula to calculate the capacity of the reinforced concrete masonry columns under eccentric compression is got based on steel concrete structure theory and the test results by the authors.The formula agrees with that of concrete members under eccentric compression,but the expression in masonry structure is used by taking account of the effect of longitudinal deflection on the capacities,which is modified by the results of ANSYS analysis results.
