It is outlined the mechanism and effect of reinforcing the subsoil made of garbage by vibroflotation,whose composition is complicated and layer is thick,based on actual projects of building heavy-duty casting plant in the garbage site. To validate the design assumption,it is also carried out loading test of single pile composite foundation with heavy-duty dynamic penetration test.Based on the analysis of the test results,the effect of reinforcing is finally judged.
