INHERENT ANISOTROPIC UNIFIED HARDENING MODEL FOR SOILS

  • An inherent anisotropic unified hardening model for soils was presented using an anisotropic parameter .The inherent anisotropy of soils can be processed as isotropy transforming its stresses into the equivalent isotropic soil. Parameter can be obtained from the conventional triaxial compression tests and triaxial extension tests of the inherent anisotropic soils.The model is well demonstrated by comparison of the predicted stress-strain curve and test results of Toyoura sand under different stress conditions.
