The thawing of ice and snow timely is a difficult problem all over the world.The using deicing salts is the most common method.Based on analysing advantages and disadvantages of using deicing salts,it is emphasized that using deicing salts has corosive harms to infrastructures and affects enviroment.Finally a series of ineasures to reduce these harms are proposed
