Because of small settlement of end-bearing pile, the bearing capacity of soils among piles can not be carried out, even if the space between piles increased. Consequently, all loads of the super-structure should be supported by piles only. The bearing capacity of soils could not be used, and huge waste caused. A kind of tailored-made equipment named deformation adjustor is studied, which are used to adjust the deformation between the end-bearing pile and the soil among piles. The design method of end-bearing composite pile foundation is presented, in which the end-bearing piles and the soil foundation are working together, especially, the soil plays a main role. The design method has been shown to be reliable.
