Performance based seismic design is being applied in super tall buildings and complicated high- rise structures. But the quantified definition of performance levels for different type of structures is lacking so far.Based on analyses of relevant data, this paper established the interstory displacement calculating method and quantified performance levels of high- rise structures with strengthened stories considering the mechanical property of this kind of structures, which provide reference on structural performance levels for performance based seismic design of high-rise structures with strengthened stories.
