STUD CONNECTOR.S INFLUENCE ON ASEISMIC PERFORMANCE OF SC BEAM-RC COLUMN JOINT

  • Based on the experiments of 4 specimens of the endplate bolted SC beam and RC column joints under low cyclic loadings, hysteretic curves of the joints are obtained and the characteristics of restoring force are discussed.Uniform formula for calculating the skeleton curve is deduced.In terms of the test results, failure pattern, strain law, ductility, rigidity degeneration and energy dissipation are studied.From the results, it can be concluded that the ductility and the energy dissipation are diminished with the decrease of stud connector.
