It is presented that the preliminary test results of three reinforced concrete shear walls framed with concretefilled steel tubular (CFST) columns, steel reinforced concrete columns and reinforced concrete columns, respectively.Test results indicate that shear walls framed with CFST columns have better cyclic behavior.Finite element analysis is performed on the tested shear walls, which shows the calculated load- deflection curves agree well with those of tests.
