  • Failure phenomena and failure mechanism of concrete local compression are elaborated.Calculation methods of local compression load bearing capacity are analyzed.Some problems in actual calculations are brought forward as well as the consideration relevant to these problems.It is proposed that the calculation and selection method and distribution principle of three kinds of indirect reinforcement in local compression influence zone.All these can be served as theoretical references for making further researches on local compression and perfecting calculation methods of local compression.
