With the continuously developing of production process, logistic organization, quality control and enterprise management level in a modern car manufacture factory, the requirements for shop building are also higher and higher.Based on the design practice of engineering project of No.3 plant of Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd.that has been awarded the National Excellent Engineering Design Gold Prize, through the description of integrated shop building with large span, large area and large space from many aspects such as design idea, fa ade style, interior and exterior environmental creation, energy-saving and environment protection etc.The design features of the large-scale main building of the plant are displayed, which might be useful to the same trade.
