EXPERIMENT OF REINFORCED CONCRETE SIMPLY SUPPORTED BEAM WITH 500MPa RIBBED CARBON BARS UNDER BENDING

  • Based on the experiments of five simply supported beams with 500MPa ribbed carbon bars,one with HRB335 bars and one with HRB400 bars,it was observed that the crack,deflection,bearing capacity and failure mode of the specimens.The analysis of the experimental results shows that the normal section of the simply supported beam with 500 MPa ribbed carbon bars accords with the plane section assumption;the measured deflection accords with the request but is larger than the calculated deflection;the measured crack width is wide but less than the calculated crack width.
