Abstract
It is provided that elasto-plastic finite element analyses of steel-concrete composite portal frame subjected to lateral loads to study how the crack influence the spatial action of composite floor slabs under plastic condition.Analysis results show that crack does not influence the spatial actions of composite floor slabs too much because of the restriction provided by the reinforce bar in the concrete slabs.
