Taking Tianjin Cihai Bridge as the background,a structural system composed of new cable-stayed bridge with giant wheel is studied to find a more reasonable structural system for Cihai Bridge.On the basis of introducing the general situation of Cihai Bridge,the structural characteristic and load transferring trait are analyzed.It is pointed out that the loads are mainly borne by axial force system.Two structure systems are put forward,one is two-side cable + truss structure system(structural system A),the other is four-side cable + suspension structure system(structural system B).The two structural systems are studied and compared from the aspect of composition,structure and construction.And it comes to that the structural system B is a more rational one.
